As the sun rise over False Bay these impressive boulders casts interesting shadows on the water. Because I take photos only with my cell phone I cannot capture the penguins sitting on these rocks waiting for the sun to warm them up.

Water’s Edge is one of my favourite beaches in Simon’s Town. It’s very well protected from the masses. And not easily accessible if you are not aware of it.
This beach is and ideal place to take photos of sunrises, penguins and many other animals and birds. Sometimes I get surprised by Clawless Otters.

Higher up in the mountain you’ll come across many great flowers and lovely views over Simon’s Town. This photo was taken from a service road starting a Dorion Close. This is narrow little tar road going to a water reservoir. It’s tough 10 minute walk.

This is a street scene as the sun rises over Simon’s Town. This photo was taken in Runciman road. The trees creates such an nice frame for the sunrise I just had to stop and take it.
