This Noordhoek Beach Holiday Home is ideal for families or groups of up to eight people, the tastefully designed interiors lead out to extensive verandas and entertaining areas. The African sunsets can be watched from the decks and balconies of this all-wooden house; it overlooks the Cape Nature Reserve, where horses ride past every morning on their way to exercise on the 8km long beach, and protected birds nest in the indigenous vegetation.
Silver grey hardwood decks surround the house and pool; comfortable loungers make soaking up the sun an all-day pleasure, and the outdoor showers are a welcome way to feel refreshed after a hard day’s swimming and sunbathing.
The house has a large, peaceful and quiet indigenous garden with a path that leads directly to the white sandy beach and the surf beyond.
Delicious breakfasts or evening cocktails are only a short stroll away at the local café-bar; for award winning haute-cuisine, the best deli-café in the south, or a family pub the local farm-village is the ideal place.
Only twenty minutes drive away through the Silvermine Nature Reserve lies Table Mountain and Cape Town city centre, with it's world renowned restaurants, shops, markets and vibrant nightlife.
Alternatively take Chapman's Peak Drive north along the Atlantic coast to the city - voted one of the world's most scenic drives.
Only thirty minutes drive south, past the villages of Kommetjie and Scarborough, is Cape Point which is one of the southernmost tips of the African continent.
The Western Cape region
The Western Cape is renowned for it's scenic beauty, wine farms, sandy beaches and for Cape Town - the most beautiful city in Southern Africa. The temperate climate makes it ideal for holidays throughout the year but especially during the European winter when it is summer in South Africa.
In Noordhoek valley you can sample some of the best South African wines at the Cape Point Vineyard, or drive for 15 minutes and visit the world famous Constantia vineyards. The nearby villages of Simons town, Kalk Bay, Kommetje and Scarborough also offer a range of shops, activities and fantastic restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets.
The Cape Town / Noordhoek area
Noordhoek is Cape Town's rural treasure, famed for its long white sandy beach, vast wetlands and ancient milkwood forest. It can be reached via Hout Bay and Chapman's Peak Drive on the Atlantic coast, voted one of the most spectacular marine drives in the world, or through the scenic mountains of Silvermine Nature Reserve where you can see many different kinds of Fynbos & Proteas (unique shrubs) and spectacular views across False Bay to the East.
Noordhoek Long Beach, a massive 8km stretch of pristine white sand, stretches from the southern foot of Chapman's Peak (where a rocky outcrop looks down on a famous big wave surf spot 'The Hoek') to Kommetjie. A few minutes walk away, next to Noordhoek common with it's shady oaks, is the Noordhoek Farm Village where you can shop and browse or eat at several of Cape Town's most renowned restaurants.

Daily non-stop international flights fly direct to Cape Town from most major airports, e.g. British Airways, Virgin, KLM, Lufthansa, Emirates etc. Many other airlines offer flights via Johannesburg.
South Africa is only 1 or 2 hours time difference from UK and Europe so there is no jet-lag.

The route to Noordhoek Beachhouse is easy, direct and avoids going through the city.
Taxis are easily available from Cape Town International Airport at approx. £30.00/EURO 40.00; the journey will take around 40 mins from the airport to Noordhoek Beach Holiday Home.

Cleaning: house is serviced on four weekdays (not including bank holidays) inclusive in the rates.
Laundry: all bed linen and towels are laundered regularly, personal laundry is not included (but may be negotiated on request directly with the maid and may be subject to extra cost).
Public holidays/weekends: cleaning service may be available on request but should be negotiated directly with the maid or the owner/property manager and will be at additional cost.
Pool and garden: serviced weekly.
Property manager: English speaking representative (property manager or owner) will be on hand to welcome guests, receive the breakage deposit, hand over keys on arrival & receive them back on departure.
Smoking: Strictly no smoking except outside.
