Resource Guide 1 - How to list your Cape Town self catering accommodation

[thrive_lead_lock id='47273']

Let my say that if you want to (list) market your own accommodation; you are the boss, you have the time and skills then do it.

I will share the ideas that will contribute to maximise yourself catering income. (You can also use these ideas to decide where to invest in Cape Town accommodation as self catering accommodation).

First, I will list some of the most important criteria then share a short list of things we consider before we list a home.

  • On the beach.
  • Or very close to beach - like across the road.
  • Jacuzzis are popular but heavy on maintenance
  • Camps Bay and Clifton comes before any other suburb.
  • Views, parking, balconies (apartments), security.
  • Luxury finishes, maintenace free, and modern appliances.
  • Ultra professional photos (Read more here, and here.
  • Owners with great attitude; towards guests, money, and home maintenance..
  • Flexible beds (Two singles making a king is better than one king bed).

  • Ideally but not an absolute is accommodation with a pool or "on the beach". See below for others without a pool.
  • Maintenace free or very little issues - to be revamped will not make it.
  • Character with new appliances
  • Any accommodation meeting the above criteria anywhere may qualify for our marketing option.
  • If you require marketing and management then we can assist in the City Bowl, Greenpoint, Waterforont, Atlantic Seaboard, Southern Suburbs and Southern Peninsula.
  • Owners with great attitude; towards guests, money, home maintenance and working with agencies.
  • Any proud well maintained and character-full place not on the beach or without a pool may qualify.
  • Ultra Professional Photos are critical.

It's great knowing that everything's under control when I am out of the country and would otherwise be stressed about managing things back home. And I know if push came to shove you would make a plan to sort it out. Very happy!
